Peanut Banana Maple Shake - A Summer Recipe
Everybody loves a milk shake. Not everybody loves milk. And we don't aaaalways want to have a real dairy ice cream shake, full of sugar. So wouldn't it be nice to be able to whip up a delicious, healthy, high protein "milk" shake in just a couple minutes?
Introducing Peanut Banana Maple Shake.
The Maple Water in here gives this cold drink a nice sweet flavour without using any sugar or sweeteners. Organic Maple Water is a 100% natural hydration drink tapped straight from the maple tree, with nothing added and nothing removed - you can find out more about it here. It's also a great source of electrolytes, so combined with the potassium from the banana, you'll get a good hydration kick. Add 17g of protein from our (sugar-free) Peanut Butter Vegan Protein, a pinch of cinnamon for extra flavour (and its blood-sugar regulating benefits), and you've got yourself a smooth health-kick of a shake. Just make sure you keep a couple peeled frozen bananas in your freezer at all times, and you can whip this up in no time, anytime.
Ingredients:
- 1 frozen Banana
